Village Green Homeowners Association
Our Community
Village Green is a town home garden community, consisting of seventy-five 2- and 3-story family units, a clubhouse, and pool.  Located off Village Greenway and S.E. Maynard in Cary, North Carolina, our community is within walking distance of Cary Towne Center Mall, three schools - Henry Adams Elementary, East Cary Middle, Cary High - and I-40.

Village Green is governed by an elected 6-member board of directors. Charleston Management Company manages the complex, with Dana Schwab (919-847-3003) serving as our individual property manager.

News

Wow! It's 2011...

We did not raise dues for the first time in a while, and we are also being proactive to finish roofing and helping the aging clubhouse. We also are finally fixing the playground, and I hope everyone will be happy to see a decent swingset and more very soon on the property. Our recent boards have been engaged is our issues now for years, and our goal is to be as prudent and responsible as possible to fix and improve our community.

Please see the Board page for 2011 Board members, management information for any regular issues, and email the group for larger group issues (or whatever is on your mind).

For Anyone in Need

A community service that you should know about ...
The Dorcas Shop is more than a thrift store. Its real purpose is to help those who are in financial need or who face other immediate crises. The staff at its community outreach center are caring and knowledgeable. They know how to help and have some financial resources to follow through on that help. Some of the services offered include:
  • Paying a utility bill, buying gasoline, helping with rent or mortgage, giving clothing, paying for prescriptions, providing food, giving comfort and a listening ear
  • Awarding scholarships for adults seeking to improve their education
  • Awarding scholarship assistance to children including preschool, before and after school, and daycare schools
  • Operating a food pantry which offers bags of groceries to feed people for at least one week
  • Recycling some Dorcas Thrift Shop donations to others in need.
Regardless of your personal beliefs, if you have a need, big or small, please remember that these wonderful people are there for you.
